Recently, the kick-off meeting for the formulation of three national standards, including diode lighting specifications and interfaces, was held in Beijing under the centralized management of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the State Key Laboratory of Diode Lighting Joint Innovation as the lead unit.

In order to ensure the standard quality and level, the State Key Laboratory of Diode Lighting Joint Innovation has strengthened coordination with relevant parties, invited key enterprises in the diode lighting industry, scientific research institutes, and testing institutions to participate in the meeting and widely solicit opinions. The three national standards discussed this time are “LED Lighting Application Interface Requirements: Street Lights with Separate Control Devices and LED Modules with Heat Dissipation”, “LED Lighting Products Accelerated Attenuation Test Method (2000 Hours)”, “LED Public Lighting Intelligent System Interface Application Layer Communication Protocol”.
